I don't know why the models were required to teeter in super slo-mo or why some of the pieces looked like the wardrobe of an aspirational eco-nut selling goose eggs out of her garage; fact is Louise Friedlaender would profit by a better producer and stylist for her show. The collection deserves a show with some professional polish as there are many pieces to covet. She is a talented craftswoman and designer.

The standout pieces: the nun-ish dresses in white and olive green. Paired with either Mary Janes or a cool pair of ankle boots (I'm thinking the red patent leather Louis Vuitton from the fall winter collection; ankle-hugging), these dresses are flattering, practical and simply gorgeous. Long-sleeved too! Really, there are so few good long-sleeved dresses.
Friedlaender's loose-fiting three-button coat is fab as are the shorter jackets over midi-length soft dresses. The eco-friendly version of body-con: a natural linen dress, with a fringe hem line we see on a willowy girl with flat grecian sandals, next summer.
