Met Gala 2012: best nice try but not quite

Model adored by thousands of young girls Coco Rocha in vintage Givenchy. What is there to say about this other than it once belonged to Elizabeth Taylor? I love the ballerina-inspired shoes? Yes. I think I'll go with that.

Kirsten Dunst in Rodarte. I can see where Ms. Dunst is coming from with this outfit: homage to Elisa Schiaparelli and her era. The jacket/skirt is not a 'poser look' meaning it doesn't do well sans movement. She gets credit for trying something different. Although what is going on with the belt?

Current star of the moment with staying power Lena Dunham in Wes Gordon. The color of the dress is nice and surprisingly, the pink shoes are kind of cool with the green. The shoes, however, look like she got them from Payless Shoe Emporium which makes the look in its entirety appear a bit unfortunate. Great shoes with a cheap dress: great. Cheap shoes with a great dress: downgrade to awful all around.
