TOP DOG FILMS, INC., a Los Angeles-based production company is looking for screenplays for their upcoming slate of ultra low budget feature films. If you have a screenplay that fits the below criteria please email both a logline and synopsis to Maria Miller at maria@topdogfilms.com. If we are interested we will contact you. If you do not hear from us then we are not interested in your material at this time.

SCRIPT CRITERIA:
1. Ultra-low budget script of $1 million dollars or less for total budget
2. Must have minimal characters (less than 15 in total)
3. Minimal locations
4. Scripts should be story & character driven
5. No special make-up or effects, stunts, etc.

Below are examples of films in the genres that we are looking for that have both strong characters and story lines. This should give you an idea of the type of films that we enjoy. Simply use this as a guide to our taste while also meeting our criteria requirements.

THRILLER: Misery, Jagged Edge, Fatal Attraction, A Perfect Murder
TEEN DRAMA: Quinceañera, The Breakfast Club with modern day characters like Juno or Napoleon Dynamite (characters must be at least 16 years old)
DRAMA: Sherrybaby, Boys Don't Cry, Frozen River, One Flew Over Cuckoo's Nest, The Visitor, 12 Angry Men
DRAMADY: Adventureland, Little Miss Sunshine, Waitress
COMEDY: The Goodbye Girl, Napoleon Dynamite, Big Fan
FAMILY/FAITH BASED FILMS: (We are looking for quality entertainment that inspires, uplifts, challenges and captivates all members of the family.) Fireproof, Hachi
