World Cup 2010 for Dummies - Part XV - News&Cute player of the day

Some news, clues and blues from the past four days
- Les Bleus lost miserably to Mexico. Anelka, one of the best players, was sent home because he cursed out the coach. And somebody leaked it to the press. Sniffer dogs on the alert.
- Team USA was awesome. Came from behind to equalize against Slovenia.
- England showed about as much enthusiasm as Garfield getting up on a Monday morning.
- Denmark v Cameroon => demonstration 101 of fun football. [make Rooney watch this]
- The reigning World Champions (Italy for all of the true ignorati) - just managed a draw against New Zealand. New Zealand ranks 78 and Italy number 5. What does that tell us? Dunno. That the Italians are crap? And that my disparaging remarks about New Zealand were mean?
- Breaking news: I just heard that the French went on strike and refused to train today. Word on the street: they slapped the fitness trainer. Nice.

Cute player of the Day:
Gabriel Heinze, Argentina. Don't let the horrendous picture on the right fool you, he is cute. Trust me. Mug shots never do one justice.
