all the pretty women wore their smartest dresses

I made the mistake of watching the trailer to Jennifer Aniston´s latest attempt at screwball-but-serious-funny-with-feeling-working class-but always perfectly coiffed hair- jeans touting - but always the rightest tightest ones - leading romantic comedy roll. Beware of "Love Happens".

Moving gracefully on, a movie I am looking forward to:
(out in NY and LA in September - for release dates in a country near you - click here):

its french
its Audrey Tatou
its "Coco Before Chanel."
its fashion.
oh, and the poster is enticing.

This isn´t the best trailer as one doesn´t hear the actors speak, and has that "must see/awesome/breathtaking/incredible" crap at the back, which I hate (will you let us make up our own minds please) nevertheless, it gives you an idea.

I strongly suggest checking out these sites for the various other trailer versions on offer:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/cocobeforechanel/
or
the official website Coco Before Chanel

I guess, it made sense to do an ad with Madamoiselle Tatou for Chanel Nr. 5. Here a short snippet of the Making of the ad. Basically, its the director raving about how perfect Ms. Tatou is for this role. Mais oui!

"Early in life she had discovered the important truth that nothing looks so like innocence as an indiscretion; and by a series of reckless escapades, she had acquired all the privileges of a personality." From Oscar Wilde´s "Lord Arthur Savile's Crime.
I do love him, and this passage from the short story fits quite well to Coco.
